Our Story — The Need for Ownership
Founded by Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, MFR, the genesis of Redhot Concepts
began with a vision that extended beyond the screen.
After years of defining the face of Nollywood, Omotola recognized that
an industry built on raw talent alone could not sustain its future.
The studio was created in the mid-2000s out of a necessity to establish
systems, financial integrity, and ownership—the missing pillars required
to transform Nollywood into a globally competitive creative economy.
Today, Redhot Concepts anchors a thriving ecosystem of brands—including
OYEP and TEFFEST—cultivating the next generation of African excellence.
